The first step to being independent is to have a place you called your own. But since I couldn’t afford to buy a house, I resorted to renting. For me, this is the next best things.

But renting a home can be meticulous work. It is often consume more time finding and looking for a potential house to be.

Here are some factors to be considered when you are renting a house.

Always read carefully before signing any contract. Make sure you understand the terms and conditions properly, as many clauses may not be stated clearly. If not, make inquiries if you are not sure of something. It’s better to ask before moving in. Unexpected statements may also be given in moving out.

It is also important to jot down all improvements made in the home. It is very essential, as you may have more power when you ask for your deposit and advances back.

·         Know your rights
The landlord should ensure that the property is in good condition and suitable to live in. If any problem arises in the future, you have the right speak to your landlord about it.

You should also have the right to your privacy as long as you are following the written agreement and for as long as the rents are being paid regularly.

my little crib

I couldn’t express my happiness writing my fresh entry for this site. I started blogging two months ago and I am really glad that I made it. I am proud to say that it is my channel of sharing my ideas to everyone.

Home has played an integral part in molding my ideas, shaping my values and developing my personality, thus I am considering it as my top most priority. I created this blog because of my eagerness in expressing myself through styles and décors. I wanted my personality be expressed in every angle of the house. But since I am still living with my parents I know that I can’t do it.

Luckily, since I am working, my parents allowed me to get a place of my own. For almost four long years of deliberation finally they gave up and set me free. Perhaps, they saw that I am no longer a baby in a crib.

It’s time for me cast my own shadow and start the quest of independence.

Thus, I would like to welcome you to my crib…to MY LITTLE CRIB
